ESP32 and the IoT

Are you interested in the Internet of Things (IoT) and embedded systems? In the May/June edition of Elektor, engineer Mathias Claussen presented a beginner-friendly IoT project based on the new ESP32-C3 with a RISC-V core. “The best way to get to know how to connect your own applications to the IoT is to start out with a simple practical example,” Mathias explains in his article, which highlights the Wi-Fi button and relay. In the upcoming webinar titled “ESP32 and the IoT,” Mathias and Editor in Chief Jens Nickel will dive deeper into the details. Attendees will learn how the ESP32 can be connected to the cloud so it can be controlled remotely from all over the world.

Mathias Claussen

Mathias Claußen started as a trained IT systems electronics technician and earned a BSc in Electrical and Information Engineering and a MSc in Microelectronic Systems. After this, he worked as a project engineer for embedded development and focused on ARM Cortex-M-based architectures and real-time operating systems. Mathias joined Elektor in 2018 as part of the Elektor Lab team focusing mainly on software.
